About
Welcome!
My name is Sam and I’m a dreamer. My dream is to make love visible all over the country. From small towns to big cities, I wish to make love shine everywhere.
For the past year I have been recycling old political signs, turning them into “LOVE." signs and placing them around where I live in the Adirondacks. The time has come to reach out and go nationwide! In the coming months and beyond I will be driving around the country leaving roadside LOVE. signs along the way.
Why? In short, I don’t think it's possible to have too much Love and wish to help heal our divided nation. I believe this to be true:
Love transcends all boundaries.
Love is beyond politics and religion and cultural norms.
Everyone needs Love.
Everyone deserves Love.
These are my goals:
-
To brighten people’s day and soften their hearts.
-
To place Love signs in all lower 48 states, especially on the lawns of state capitol & city/town hall buildings.
The ForLuv Model: A partnership in Giving and Receiving
To fund this project I am offering love themed clothing with a twist. Built into the price of every item is the sponsorship of a Love sign and a portion of the means necessary (gas, food, shelter) for distribution. Photos will be snapped and an online gallery created as place for the signs-of-love to exist beyond their physical presence, and where your name will appear alongside the sign(s) you have given life to.
My hope is that you wear your apparel proudly as a beacon of the force which unites us all, and know that with your purchase you have placed a sign of YOUR Love into the world for total strangers to see and absorb.
So, if you are someone who wishes to live in a country where love is abundantly visible, I ask you to partner with me in SHOWERING the country with LOVE.
This is my song.
It would be an honor to dance with you.
Thank you for listening.
Love,
Sam Mawhinney

(Note on logistics: To keep this feasible, I will start driving once 100 signs have been sponsored. My commitment to y’all is this: I will drive 4-6hrs/day, 5 days/week for @ least 3 weeks/month, returning home to send out apparel.)
